Quality Assurance and Billing Manager

Melissa has worked in the mental health and substance use disorder fields for over 10 years. She started as a residential technician and quickly realized her passion for helping others. After leaving the treatment center in Malibu, she helped open an Outpatient program, and her knowledge of clinical, organizational, and billing workflows began to grow as she was asked to start and implement a Medi-Cal program. From there Melissa went on to another treatment program in Santa Monica where she worked as the Quality Assurance Specialist. She oversaw 6 locations, supported the Director of Operations in implementing policies, created workflows to help streamline new staff, as well as workflows that helped streamline the billing department.
